Old Towne Orange

One of the good things about living in California is that I have a car!! Which means road trips!! Which are one of my favorite things to do.  I live in LA which is great but it’s a huge city.  That means there’s always a ton of people everywhere you go, traffic and just a general city vibe.  Over the weekend, I road tripped down to Orange, CA which has the cutest small town: Old Towne Orange

Funny story… in high school I applied to Chapman University.  Their campus is pretty much Old Towne Orange! It was my top school… and I didn’t get in.  It definitely sucked at the time but I ended up in New York which was a way better fit for me anyway.  Still, who would have thought seven years later I’d be back!

The Main Street of Old Towne makes you feel like you’re on a movie set.  There are a ton of small shops, stores, restaurants and cafes! I’ll definitely need to come back and make a stop in the shops.  I’ve been in a mood recently where all I’ve wanted was to be in a small town in the countryside of England and this was as close as I could get an hour outside of LA. 🙂 If you’re in Southern California, I would DEFINITELY recommend visiting.   I know I’ll be back soon!
